This is an interesting plant. It has a very architectural manner of growing and does not require staking. The small husked “cherries” taste something like pineapples but I’ve also heard the flavor described as custard like. The fruit should store around 3 weeks from harvest and lend themselves to a number of preparations, fresh, in pies, preserves, you name it. You kids will love them and as a bonus yields are incredible.
